Winter Quarter was a big quarter for VNLC with our 24th annual Tet Festival, bi-weekly general meetings, fundraisers, and volunteer socials!
This year’s 24th annual VNLC Tet Festival took place on Sunday, February 11th in Ackerman Grand Ballroom. We’d like to thank everyone who came out to support us and our performers at this year’s Tet Festival.
In addition to our 24th annual Tet Festival, we also had bi-weekly general meetings in which we collaborated with other on-campus organizations to share and enjoy Vietnamese customs and traditions with our general members.
We were also able to fund raise for our Tet Festival and project sites, Saturday Vietnamese Tutorial (SVT) and Rendering Encouragement in Academic Commitment to Higher Education (REACHE), through three fundraisers throughout the quarter. We the quarter with an 85 Degrees Bake Sale on Bruin Walk, followed by a Dim Sum Fundraiser in the Court of Sciences, and finally our first Porto’s fundraiser on Bruin Walk!
